Hoot System Selection & Supply

Choosing the right Hoot model — BNR, ANR, traffic-rated, or commercial — is the foundation of long-term performance. We work with property owners, engineers, and licensed contractors to specify the right system for your site’s flow, soil conditions, and county requirements.

Once specified, we manufacture and deliver your system anywhere in California, with factory-direct quality control and the only authorized Hoot parts inventory in the state. Every system we sell is designed around your property’s specific conditions and is delivered ready for your licensed contractor’s installation.

Tank-Top Connections & System Startup

After your licensed contractor sets the tank, we handle the manufacturer-side work that brings your Hoot system online: tank-top connections, programming the Hoot Controller, testing the alarms and blower, verifying treatment cycles, walking the homeowner through system operation, and registering the warranty. This is the startup work Hoot Systems, Inc. requires its authorized distributors to perform on every Hoot system in California.

Lifetime O&M Service

California requires lifetime Operation & Maintenance for every Hoot system — and we provide it. Annual and semi-annual service visits, alarm diagnostics, effluent sampling for counties that require it (Napa, Lake, Santa Cruz, and others), chain-of-custody lab coordination, county compliance reporting, and emergency alarm response.

Every Hoot system we sell comes with a 2-year initial service policy and ongoing O&M support for the life of the system. This is what separates us from equipment-only suppliers — we’re your long-term partner in advanced wastewater management.

Diagnostics & Component Service

When your Hoot system shows warning signs — alarm activation, slow drains, unusual odors, blower issues — fast accurate diagnosis matters. We diagnose system issues across the full Hoot product line, replace authorized components (blowers, controllers, floats, pumps), and coordinate with your licensed contractor for any plumbing or electrical repairs that fall outside manufacturer service.

We work on Hoot and other advanced treatment units throughout our service area. Because we’re the authorized California distributor, we have direct access to factory parts and technical support — meaning faster diagnosis, faster repairs, and authentic Hoot components on every service call.

Project Coordination for Engineers & Contractors

Working on a project that calls for advanced treatment? We support licensed septic contractors, civil and environmental engineers, and county environmental health departments with system specification assistance, CAD drawings and engineering documentation, hydraulic calculations, NSF certification documents, and county-approved design support.

We provide on-site startup assistance, contractor wiring and connection guidance, and direct technical support throughout your project. Our role is to make your job easier — and to make sure the system performs exactly as designed for the life of the installation.
